HitPay is a payment gateway — it works by putting itself between you and your customer. When your customer pays by PayNow, the money goes into HitPay's system first, HitPay takes their fee, and then settles the remainder to you.

In fairness: HitPay offers a full payment gateway with card payments, links, POS hardware, and more. If you need multi-channel payments beyond PayNow, a gateway may suit you.
